Fatal Motorcycle Collision

Investigators with the York Regional Police Major Collision Investigation Unit are seeking witnesses following a fatal motorcycle collision in the City of Markham.

On Sunday, August 14, 2016, at 2:38 a.m., York Regional Police were called to a single-vehicle motorcycle collision on Enterprise Boulevard in the area of Birchmount Road. When officers arrived they located a 39-year-old man from the Town of Richmond Hill, suffering from life-threatening injuries. He was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

They do not believe that there were any other vehicles involved.

Any witnesses who have not yet spoken with police are being asked to please come forward.
