(STRATFORD, ON) – On July 27, 2016, members the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Child Sexual Exploitation Unit, OPP and Waterloo Regional Police Technological Crime Units, assisted by the Stratford Police Service, executed three search warrants at three different residences within the City of Stratford.
During the search, computer devices containing images of child sexual abuse were seized and are pending forensic analysis.
As a result of the investigation, 47 year old Robert Herman WISSINK, and a 16 year old male who cannot be named as per the Youth Criminal Justice Act (YCJA), have both been charged with:
Possession of Child Pornography, (2 counts),contrary to section 163.1 (4) of the Criminal Code of Canada
Making Child Pornography Available, contrary to section 163.1 (3) of the Criminal Code of Canada.
The 47 year old is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on August 29, 2016.
The 16 year old is scheduled to appear in Youth Court in the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on September 9, 2016.
The investigation is continuing.
