Stolen Pickup Truck Involved In Wingham Hit And Run – Plate AL57213 – Photo Released

(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) – On Monday evening August 22, 2016, members of the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) in Listowel received a call from a Perth County resident, who reported his pickup truck stolen from a parking area in Newry.

The resident advised police that he had parked his Dodge Ram pickup truck in a lot along Perth Line 72 in Newry, while working out of the area. On Sunday evening August 21st, he had left his pickup truck unlocked with the keys inside at the lot. On Monday August 22nd around 6 p.m., the pickup truck owner received a call from Wingham Police Service advising him that his vehicle had just been involved in a crash in their area, and that the person driving the truck left the scene of the collision.

Police were able to determine that the pickup truck was removed from the lot in Newry sometime between 9 p.m. Sunday August 21st and 5 a.m. Monday August 22nd.

Description of the pickup truck:

Beige 2008 Dodge Ram quad cab.

Had Ontario licence plates AL57213 attached

Has dark tinted windows

Has 20” factory aluminum rims with Bridgestone tires
