Emergency services personnel have responded to a power outage that occurred at 7:45 am on Wednesday September 7.
The transformer at Alexandra school is believed to be the cause of the power outage and it is uncertain that this time when it will be repaired.
Many traffic signals are not functioning and drivers are reminded to treat the affected intersections as four-way stops and to watch for children, pedestrians and cyclists.
