On September 8, 2016, at 10:00 p.m., two eighteen year old males attended Lady of Fatima School, located in Cambridge to play basketball. Shortly thereafter, the males were attacked by two unidentified males with their faces masked, wearing dark hoodies. The suspects took a backpack belonging to the victim, and struck one of the males several times with a large wooden stick.
They fled the area on foot. A k9 track was conducted with negative results. The victim was transported to hospital and sustained non-life threatening injuries. The identities of the males is unknown, anyone with information is asked to contact Waterloo Regional Police at 519-653-7700 ext. 2299.
