(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On September 15, 2016, Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) charged 57-year old Robert J. GIRARD of Windsor with impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing death and exceed 80 milligrams blood alcohol content / motor vehicle / cause accident with fatality under the Criminal Code.
He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on October 20, 2016 to speak to the charges.
SERIOUS COLLISION ON HWY. 26 MEAFORD
– Motorcycle Rider Succumbs to Injuries – Deceased Identified –
(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – The motorcycle rider involved in the collision on Hwy. 26 on September 2, 2016 has succumbed to his injuries. The deceased has been identified as 55-year old Allan Bradley DOHERTY of the Municipality of Meaford.
Charges are pending against the driver of the 2012 Dodge Charger vehicle involved in the collision; a 57-year old Windsor man.
