On September 22, 2016, at 10:50 p.m. Waterloo Regional Police officers responded to a report of a robbery in the area of Sekura Crescent. A man was in his home when he heard the front door open and saw a man walk inside, pointing what appeared to be a handgun. The suspect pointed the gun at the victim and demanded money. When the victim said he had none, the suspect left and was last seen walking near the corner of Harmony Court and Sekura Crescent. The victim was not injured. Shortly after this incident, police received reports that a man with a gun was seen in the area of Glen Road and Winter Avenue. A canine track and check of the area was unsuccessful in locating the suspect. The suspect is described as white, between 20 and 25 years old, 150-160 pounds with a medium build. He was wearing a black hoodie, black ball cap, black pants and a black bandana over the lower part of his face.
