(BRANT COUNTY, ON) –Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were called to a Break and Enter from a County of Brant home on 22 September 2016 at approximately 12:30 p.m.
OPP investigators attended and discovered that unknown person(s) attended a Davern Road residence while the home owners were in the back yard. The thieves entered the residence and took a purse from the un-locked residence.
The County of Brant OPP want to remind the public to “Protect your property” and avoid being a victim by following some of these helpful tips:
Watch for suspicious people or activity in your neighbourhood
Lock doors and windows, even if you are in the backyard
Keep garage doors and entry doors secured
Keep valuables in the home in secure locations
