(WEST PARRY SOUND, ON) – On September 24, 2016, at 11:40a.m., members of the West Parry Sound Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Parry Sound Fire Department and Parry Sound Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded to a 2 vehicle collision at the intersection of Louisa Street and Bowes Street in the Town of Parry Sound.
OPP investigation determined that a motor vehicle was travelling eastbound through the intersection when it was struck by another motor vehicle attempting to turn left onto Oastler Park Drive. The occupants of the eastbound motor vehicle sustained non-life threatening injuries and were transported by EMS to the West Parry Sound Health Centre.
As a result of the investigation, Kody FOSTER, 25 years of age from Goderich was charged with “turn – not in safety” contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
