(MUNICIPALITY OF MEAFORD, ON) – On October 15, 2016 at approximately 5:25 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated an incident of road rage that occurred on Sykes Street North near Albery Crescent in the Municipality of Meaford; resulting in the arrest of a Meaford man.
Investigation revealed that a 2012 Chevrolet Cruz vehicle, driven by a 24-year old Brockton man, was forced to stop by a driver operating a 2014 Dodge Caravan vehicle.
The driver of the Dodge exited his vehicle, smashed the driver’s window of the Chevrolet; assaulting the driver before leaving the scene. There were no injuries reported.
Police located and arrested the suspect outside his residence a short time afterwards.
37-year old Dayce HICKLE, of the Municipality of Meaford, was charged with dangerous operation of a motor vehicle, mischief under $5000 and assault.
He is scheduled to appear in court on November 17, 2016.
