(Bradford, ON) On Tuesday, October 4, 2016, around 8:00 a.m., a Miller Park Avenue resident came home to find a man in her house. The suspect pushed past the woman and fled west on Holland Street West. Responding officers, including the Canine Unit, were unsuccessful in locating the man. He is described as male, in his 30s, about 6 feet tall, wearing a black hoodie and tan pants. The investigating officers discovered the suspect entered the home through a ground floor window.
A fingerprint was obtained from the window, and was later identified to a 26 year old Bradford man. On Wednesday, November 23, 2016, the suspect was located, arrested, and charged with Break & Enter. He will appear in court in December.
Drive Under Suspension
(Bradford, ON) On November 23, 2016, around 2:00 p.m., a South Simcoe Police Traffic officer stopped a vehicle travelling 118 km/h in a posted 80 km/h zone on Yonge Street, in the Town of Bradford/West Gwillimbury. The 45 year old Bradford man readily admitted to the officer that he was driving while under suspension. The officer learned the man was actually under 3 separate driving suspensions. The vehicle was removed and the driver is facing charges of Drive Under Suspension.
