Mark MARSH – Drunk Driving

(MIDDLESEX COUNTY, ON) – On November 27, 2016, at approximately 9:08 p.m., the Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) observed a possible impaired driver travelling on Longwoods Road, near Adelaide Road, in the Municipality of Strathroy Caradoc, Ontario.

Officers determined that the 55-year-old male driver of the motor vehicle (a grey Toyota pickup truck) had been drinking alcohol. He was placed under arrest, and transported to a Middlesex County OPP detachment for breath tests, which revealed he had consumed more than twice the legal limit of alcohol.

As a result of the police investigation, Mark MARSH, from Thames Centre, Ontario, has been charged with driving while ability impaired – motor vehicle (alcohol), and driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He was further charged under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) with possession of a schedule II substance – cannabis marihuana – under 30 grams.

The accused was released from police custody by way of a Promise to Appear (PTA), and is schedule to answer the charges in the London courts on January 20, 2017.
