The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 107 calls for service in the last 24 hours. There were no arrests.

Break and Enter in Chatham – CK16041229

On December 4th, 2016, Police responded to a Break and Enter on Park Street, in Chatham. Police learned that sometime overnight on December 4th, 2016, unknown suspects forced their way into a detached garage and stole various tools and a chainsaw. The value of the items taken is approximately $300.00.

Break and Enter in Chatham – CK16041224

On December 4th, 2016, Police responded to a Break and Enter on Wellington Street East, in Chatham. Police learned that sometime overnight on December 4th, 2016, unknown suspects forced their way into a trailer and stole duffle bags and various tools valued at approximately $8000.00.

Motor Vehicle Collision in Chatham – CK16041274

On December 4th, 2016, at 1630hrs, Police responded to a Motor Vehicle Collision involving three vehicles at the intersection of Grand Ave. West and Lacroix Street. Police learned that the vehicle responsible for the collision fled the scene and headed eastbound on Grand Ave. West. The vehicle is described as an older model two-door pickup, with extended cab, black and gold in colour. The total damage of the collision is estimated at $5000.
