(FilmThePolice.ca) Huron OPP are now facing attempted murder allegations after an apparent botched execution attempt in Seaforth.
NOTE: Traditional media have used a cropped photo to help cover-up the unjustified shooting. The image below is from the SIU report, and contains one of the bullet holes proving it was an unjustified shooting. All other media outlets have chosen to edit out or omit the bullet hole.
The SIU evidence and investigation shows that Huron OPP repeatedly failed to use standard and appropriate methods to stop a vehicle, and instead tried to execute unarmed civilians in an extrajudicial punitive measure. The telltale bullet holes in the vehicle clearly show the officer lied in his notes, and then they refused to be interviewed. All residents of Huron County are encouraged to lockdown their property and video record ALL police interactions until this officer’s name is released.
The SIU’s decision to exonerate the officer in Case #23-PFI-424 is a grotesque miscarriage of justice. The evidence overwhelmingly suggests that the officer’s gunfire was not defensive but retaliatory, targeting the passenger (Complainant #1) after the vehicle had already passed him. The SIU’s conclusion that this shooting was “reasonable” is a disgrace—it rewards reckless violence and sends a clear message: police can shoot first, fabricate a threat later, and walk away unscathed.
1. The Shooting Was Not Defensive – It Was Punitive
A. The Officer Was No Longer in Danger When He Fired
- The SIU admits there is conflicting evidence on whether the SUV was moving when shots were fired.
- Video footage (from residential cameras) suggests the vehicle was already turning away when the officer discharged his firearm.
- Forensic evidence shows bullets struck the passenger-side windshield and door—areas that would not be in the officer’s direct line of fire if he were truly defending himself from an oncoming vehicle.
Conclusion: The officer was not firing to stop an imminent threat—he was firing to punish the occupants for fleeing.
B. The Third Shot Was Especially Suspicious

- Witnesses and audio recordings confirm two rapid shots, followed by a delayed third shot.
- This pause suggests the officer reassessed and chose to fire again—not in panic, but in retaliation.
- The bullet that struck Complainant #1 in the chest came from this third shot, proving the officer adjusted his aim to ensure a hit.
Conclusion: This was not “self-defense.” This was an execution attempt.
2. The SIU’s Flawed Justification Relies on Police Privilege
The SIU’s reasoning is a textbook example of cop logic:
- “He feared for his life”—despite no evidence the civilians were armed.
- “The SUV was a weapon”—ignoring that the officer stepped in front of it instead of retreating.
- “The shooting was proportional”—even though three bullets into a fleeing car is excessive by any standard.
The SIU’s decision is not based on facts—it’s based on deference to police.
3. This Was Retaliation, Not Protection
The officer’s actions fit a well-documented pattern of police using lethal force as punishment:
- Complainant #1 had just evaded arrest—a “sin” that often triggers police rage.
- The officer shot at the passenger side, where Complainant #1 was seated, despite the driver being the alleged threat.
- No attempt was made to disable the vehicle (tires, engine block)—the officer chose to shoot at human targets.
This was not about stopping a threat. It was about sending a message: “You don’t run from us.”
4. The SIU’s Decision Encourages More Police Violence
By rubber-stamping this shooting, the SIU has:
✅ Legitimized retaliatory gunfire against unarmed civilians.
✅ Reinforced that police can lie, exaggerate threats, and face no consequences.
✅ Sent a clear signal to officers: If you’re angry, you can shoot.
This is not oversight—it’s complicity.
Final Verdict: A Criminal Act Whitewashed as “Self-Defense”
The evidence proves this shooting was unjustified and retaliatory. The SIU’s decision to clear the officer is a betrayal of justice and a green light for further police violence.
If this is “reasonable,” then the law is broken.
Demand:
- An independent review of the SIU’s decision.
- Charges against the officer for aggravated assault.
- Legislative reform to strip police of their “shoot first, justify later” immunity.

The OPP are above the law, and this is proof they can do whatever they want to you…..and the SIU, JP’s or Judges will rubber stamp their crimes. I agree, CAMERAS UP!
The actions of the police on October 23/24 made an already dangerous situation much worse. They were endangering the public. This is the complete antithesis of “To serve and protect”.
I saw then arrest a homeless guy at Timmy Hortons a few weeks ago. These cops are f’n brutal! Very violent for no reason at all. Just bullies with guns and a license to kill. Oh-Double-P, funny and horrifying at the same time.
Those dirty Wingham cops should never have been allowed to become OPP and spread their corruption throughout the ranks of the OPP.
There’s a young cop that’s a right asshole and mouthy. I get it jobs stressful but talking normally to a person goes a long way . This situation sounds like something e would do .Make sure to have cameras up and video everything nowadays .
I suspect it’s “half a cop”, that woman beating tiny cunt from the former Wingham Police. FTP
Funny how their body camera footage always disappears. FFS the cop shot the passenger repeatedly, the passenger wasn’t a threat, that cop needs to be sent to prison for attempted murder and SIU disbanded.
The cop shot me too and I was the driver of the vehicle the vehicle was off when he shot me
What’s the name of the cop that shot you??
Tell everyone the name of the officer who fired
Why didn’t you just pull over?
Agreed
OPP are not required to wear nor are they provided with Body Worn Cameras. One of the last holdouts in North America. You have to ask why!
They all know that if not always there will eventually be situation (s) where if the truth were to be captured and reported it would be devastating to their career of the career of a fellow officer… .ONLY THING COPS “SERVE AND PROTECT” is themselves…oh and the coffee and donuts
I’m happy to see the police doing their job !This world has become not a safe place for anyone to walk alone or for the kids to play outside without guidance .I stand for the police if you want to break the law than receive your punishment !! I wouldn’t want their job ever !
So when it’s your teenage child, sibling or friend that gets shot by a cop, you’ll be grateful they did their job then too, right?
You have no fuckin idea. Wait till they pull u over. Fuck those cunts
I think it’s high time people start to retaliate. Cops think they can do what they want.
And what are you going to do to them
Well funny thing is they also didn’t call for any back up because they needed to get their story straight. Also police should always be in uniform in marked vehicles when making their arrests because often people think they are getting robbed by men with guns not even thinking police and if they flee to get away like most would they would apparently be shot although fleeing is not a right to shoot. You know their identity on top of it so even if a chase is too risky and you have no drones or police dogs well then you may have to check their snap location and find them later. Its a freaking stolen car not a stolen baby. Anywho when you say “Police” and music is playing, adrenaline is going from guys coming at you with guns out and you get pistal whipped for example it can be difficult to hear and that is the truth and next thing you know everyone’s a danger to everyone. So Maybe a big flag or something that makes it obvious who you are before you start shooting would be helpful for everyone
To Anonymous who is happy to see the police doing their job. Are you saying it’s okay for unarmed people to get shot at three times by police and once in the chest??? That person could have died!!!! Shame on you.
It just goes to show the OPP put on the badge and mistake a hard on for a back bone what a shame!!!
Are you saying it’s okay that these two people put everyone else in danger by traveling at a high rate of speed? What would your opinion be if they hit a vehicle with a family in it? You’d probably be asking “why didn’t police stop them sooner”. Where’s the personal responsibility for the two that started this chaos?
I would still blame the OPP if they hit a family. The OPP had many opportunities to stop them throughout the day with a spike strip, or they could have simply could have boxed them in. Either way, lethal force against the passenger was 100% illegal and uncalled for. Cops don’t get to judge and executioner…not in free Country.
There are other ways to stop a vehicle The use of a gun is a power trip
Why not shoot the tires out? Could of shot 3 tires??
For this point “The SIU admits there is conflicting evidence on whether the SUV was moving when shots were fired” are we just going to ignore this part of the report? “ That evidence [that SUV was stationary], however, is problematic. It does not line up with what Complainant #2 is said to have told an acquaintance of what happened after the incident.”
Also this point is pretty laughable “No attempt was made to disable the vehicle (tires, engine block)—the officer chose to shoot at human targets.” A car being driven towards someone is considered deadly force and is met with deadly force. Shooting out tires won’t immediately stop a moving vehicle, and shooting out an engine with a 9mm handgun isn’t going to happen.
Know what would have 100% prevented the shooting? Not stealing the truck, or getting out of the vehicle when caught. Where’s the personal responsibility when they were traveling at a high rate of speed putting everyone else in danger?
Where did it say the vehicle was travelling at a high rate of speed?? Get your facts straight. Ununiformed police pulled in behind the subject vehicle in a residential driveway!! They were in civilian vehicles. They gave the so called suspects seconds after stopping SUV to vacate the stopped, off vehicle before he fired 3 shots. Read the SIU report again!!!!!
The initially stolen truck was was reported “ WO #1 reported the stolen Dodge Ram and trailer travelling at a high rate of speed, last seen westbound on Browntown Road.”
And then the SUV was as well “Nobody was to pursue the SUV. The SUV was seen heading towards Clinton at a high rate of speed.”
SUV was at a high rate of speed heading towards Clinton AFTER the shooting. If you had 3 men approach you in your driveway in civilian clothes, driving civilian vehicles, pointing guns at you and then shooting, wouldn’t you take off fast?? I would!
No I wouldn’t, and I’ll tell you why. I’d never be in that situation in the first place as I don’t associate with people who steal vehicles.
Secondly, don’t you think the officers identified themselves? It doesn’t say it in the report, but standard procedure for police is to identify themselves. We don’t have gangs driving around with multiple vehicles abducting people in broad day light around here, so reason would conclude they were in fact officers.
It’s not OK to run from the police.
To: No I wouldn’t, and I’ll tell you why: funny, I can’t “REPLY” to your comment as the reply button isn’t there. Obviously by that and your answer you must be a COP. Instead of needing to identify as police, why not look like them?????? Where a f*ing uniform and drive a cop car, PIG!!!!!!!! And if no one is shooting at you, put your gun away. Or I don’t know, maybe have common sense and NOT stand in front of vehicle???????? Idiots!!
The unjustified use of lethal force makes a pretty strong argument for why any person, guilty or not, would be justified and exercising logic by running from the police.
Does this lockdown include Perth or just Huron ?
There is to much the OPP are getting away with they should be held accountable for their actions they are not above the law why the passenger if he was threathed by the vehicle don’t make no sense to shoot a unarmed man get it right SIU
More government corruption that will go unchecked and yet they want our guns. It will be interesting to see how many people will be gunned down at the trucker convoy 2.0 cause the socialist party of liberal corruption declared war on its citizens under Justin Castro Trudope and has been escalating ever since this is what will become the norm if Canadians allow the Fiberal government to continue its rain of terror and criminal activity
Maybe shoot a few more scumbags and others will learn not to terrorize our communities any more. Crime in this country is out of control and thanks to our soft-on-crime liberal government they’ve been emboldened. Better yet, save the police the time and effort and allow citizens to defend themselves and their property.
Well because they are not proven to be guilty yet and what law is it that we decide to shoot ? What if your daughter was in a car she didn’t know was stolen? It’s a life and life insurance doesn’t replace lives like cars . Plus these are police the ones who are suppose to be following the law right??? They are not suppose to be murdering potential car thieves so like that is a part of it ….they are police not criminals. Also if you are criminal yes its not hard to believe that people coming at you with guns are other criminals and not police because they are not in uniforms .
I still rather just call and make a insurance claim then shoot and kill someone who stole from me regardless of if it was to feed their family or their drug habit or just no reason. Because we are not vigilantes and I pay taxes so I dont have to be because some trigger happy lunatic will take care of it and go to hell most likely for it
Why not suspend police WITHOUT pay instead of with pay when they do something wrong??? They have NO deterrent. Where else do you get to break the law and then get a paid vacation??
Ya they drove away fast cause they were shot and going to hospital . Police or not i wouldn’t be trusting them afterwards either with my life lol ya right. He messed up and is lucky he didn’t kill them. Own it apologize and take accountability because your attempt to cover this up will eventually be exposed and hopefully sooner than later and before you shoot another innocent person. Maybe you would be better in the office trolling fb for someone selling stolen donations or something
In Japan the police roll you up in foam like a taco. I think that would be better . I’d break the law just to get arrested but nobody would get shot so win win
