Only one person stood their ground and defended Belgrave against corrupt senior staff and council, but that is all it took. The Belgrave Community Complex has been saved by an anonymous citizen standing their ground to confront council & staff. The audio stream was cut just prior to the anonymous hero taking his stand, and only reactivated near the end of his comments.
Bystanders always use the excuse, “one person can’t make a difference” to justify their apathy and inaction. The Belgrave Community Complex was saved due to the courage of one person whose love for his Community outweighed his fear of standing and speaking up to the “authorities”.
The next council meeting is 06Mar2023.
