(Ottawa)—The Ottawa Police Service Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Section is investigating a sexual assault that occurred at a residence in the area of Rideau Narrows and James Bell Drives on August 24, 2015 at approximately 4:00am.
An adult female awoke to an unidentified male in her home and she was sexually assaulted. The male suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.
The Ottawa Police will not release further details, so as not to identify the victim.
The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, 25-30 years old, approximately 6’0” (183cm), heavy build with light brown or blondish hair. He was wearing a dark sweater and dark grey sweatpants.
