(ESSEX, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating the theft of a pickup truck that occurred in Lasalle on October 17, 2015.
The suspects stole a white Ford F-150 from a residence in Lasalle and subsequently left the area and struck a building in Harrow at the intersection of King Street and Queen Street. The suspects then fled the area on foot and are believed to have stolen bicycles in the area.
The bicycles were discovered at the end of the Chrysler Greenway trail at Highway 3 and Walker Road. It is believed that the two youths then either walked or hitch-hiked in the direction of Windsor.
The youth are described as follows:
#1—white male, 5 foot tall, thin, approximately 13 years old wearing a black hoodie, tan coloured ¾ length coat with a tan coloured back pack. His face was covered with either a balaclava or a ski mask.
#2—white male, approximately 5 foot 7 inches tall, thin build, approximately 14-15 years old, light coloured hair wearing a dark blue jacket with a hood and red sweater.
Investigators are looking to speak to members of the public who may have observed these males either walking or hitch-hiking near Walker Road or Highway 3 in the early morning hours of Saturday, October 17, 2015. If you noticed anything suspicious in that area, you are asked to contact the OPP Crime Unit at 519-723-2491.
