The Brantford Police Service is highlighting commercial break and enters and remind owners to be vigilant when it comes to the protection of their property.
The Brantford Police Service wish to bring awareness to recent ‘smash and grab’ type incidents, provide crime prevention tips to the community and release surveillance video to seek out tips from the community to assist us in solving these crimes of opportunity.
Incidents;
On Tuesday May 26, 2015 at approximately 11:30 p.m. (time stamp is off on video) a lone male was captured on video throwing a rock or brick through a front glass door located at Twice the Deal Pizza on Shellard Lane. The glass shattered and the suspect entered the business where he is observed ripping a cash register from its cables and stealing the cash register. The suspect had some type of towel or cloth concealing his face and head. The suspect was wearing a long sweater or jacket and grey or blue utility worker pants with reflective striping on the legs.
