(Bancroft, Ontario) – Saturday the 14th of December 2013 the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received the report of a motor vehicle collision on North Baptiste Lake Road in the Municipality of Hastings Highlands. Officers attended the location and observed a vehicle that had entered the ditch. Investigation into the incident resulted in an adult male being arrested for impaired operation.
55 year old Kenneth CASSELMAN, of the Municipality of Hastings Highlands, Ontario has been charged with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and operate a motor vehicle with over 80 milligrams of alcohol in his blood. Mr. CASSELMAN was released from custody on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on the 14th of January 2014.
