(TOWNSHIP OF WELLINGTON NORTH, ON) – On June 6, 2019 at approximately 2:30 p.m. Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a serious vehicle collision on Wellington Road 14, north of the Village of Arthur. Initial reports indicated that a motorcycle and sedan had collided. The operator of the motorcycle, Joey D. CATTEAU, 51-years-old of Arthur, was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
The investigation has concluded. Charged is Joseph Raymond CARRIER, 62-years-old of Arthur, with Turn not in Safety, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. The accused is scheduled to appear in Guelph Court on July 25, 2019.
