(BRUCE PENINSULA, ON) – On November 14, 2015 at approximately 12:04 p.m., the Bruce Peninsula Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a call regarding a minor motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Bruce Street and Spring Creek Road, in the Town of South Bruce Peninsula.
Police investigation revealed a 1984 brown Oldsmobile driving northbound on Bruce Street and had initiated a left hand turn onto Spring Creek Road. The driver of a 2009 black GMC pick-up truck was following behind the 1984 brown Oldsmobile and collided with the rear of the vehicle. Neither driver sustained any injuries.
The driver of the 2009 black GMC pick- up truck, a 26-year-old male from Georgian Bluffs, has been charged with Careless Driving, section 130 of the Ontario Highway Traffic Act.
