On October 15th, 2015 at approximately 1:30pm, Peterborough County OPP Officers were on routine patrol on Strickland Street in the Township of Douro Dummer when they observed a motor vehicle driving in an erratic manner. Police attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver refused to stop. This resulted in a short police pursuit with the vehicle eventually stopping on Lynchs Rock Road in the same township.
Charged is: Teresa Kennedy, 68 years of Peterborough,Ontario
Section 249.1(1) Criminal Code – Flight While Pursued By Peace Officer”
Section 249(1)(a) Criminal Code – “Dangerous Operation Of A Motor Vehicle”
Section 182(2) Highway Traffic Act – ” Disobey Sign”
The accused is scheduled to appear at Peterborough Provincial Court on November 12th
