2006 Arctic Cat 500 Stolen From Locked Barn

(MUNICIPALITY OF WEST PERTH, ON) – On Monday August 24, 2015, a homeowner living along Perth Line 20 west of Russeldale contacted the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) to report the break-in to a barn.

Investigation indicated that sometime between the 16th and 21st of August, while the homeowner was on vacation, an unknown suspect(s) forced open a rear door to the locked barn. Once inside the barn, an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV), a Stihl chainsaw, a leaf blower, and a lawn trimmer were removed.

The ATV is described as an orange/red 2006 Arctic Cat, model 500. The machine had an Ontario plate 82AR2 attached to the back. The ATV also had a ¾ tank of fuel.

The suspect drove the ATV across the lawn of the residence and down the driveway, leaving in an unknown direction.
