(ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP, ON) – A traffic complaint has led to an individual being arrested for impaired driving.
On January 6, 2026, at approximately 5:30 p.m., the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a possible impaired driver. Police located the involved vehicle on Highway 40 near Rokeby Line, where a traffic stop was initiated.
As a result of the investigation, Tyler MCKILLICAN, a 30-year-old of Wallaceburg, was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with the following offences:
-Operation while impaired- alcohol and drugs
-Operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)
-Dangerous Operation
A 90-day Administrative Driver’s License Suspension (ADLS) and a seven-day vehicle impoundment was initiated as per statute.
The accused has been released from police custody and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice on February 3, 2026, in Sarnia.
