(SUDBURY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested and charged a G1 driver with impaired operation, after a traffic stop.
On Friday January 9, 2026, at approximately 12:10 p.m., members from the Sudbury Traffic Incident Management Enforcement (T.I.M.E.) Team of the OPP, conducted a traffic stop with a vehicle on Westmount Street, Sudbury.
The G1 driver was found to be impaired and breaching a Probation Order and was arrested, then transported to the OPP detachment for further testing.
As a result of the investigation, Star MILLER, 36 years-of-age, from Sagamok Anishinabek First Nation, was charged with,
- Operation while impaired – drugs
- Fail to comply with Probation Order
- Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
- Class G1 license holder – unaccompanied by qualified driver
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on February 18, 2026, in Sudbury.
The driver was issued a 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
