St. Thomas Police Daily Update 26Dec2024

Sometime during the early morning hours on Christmas Day, an unknown person damaged a vehicle that was parked in a lot near the downtown. The vehicle sustained several scratches and a broken tail light amounting to approximately $1000 – $1500 in damage. Shoplifters

At approximately 3:45pm on Christmas Day a female shoplifted at a local business downtown. The female stole a number of food and miscellaneous items totaling approximately $150 and left without making any attempt to pay. The shoplifter’s cart was located by police a short distance away but the female remains unknown. ST24023164.

Shortly after 4pm on Christmas Day a male shoplifted at a different business in the downtown area. The male stole beer and miscellaneous items and left the store making no attempt to pay. The incident was captured on video and police are reviewing the footage in attempt to identify the suspect. ST24023166
