(TILLSONBURG, ON) – A dangerous driver was stopped and charged with several offences in the Town of Tillsonburg.
On March 6, 2026, at approximately 9:30 p.m., members of the Oxford detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were on patrol, on Vienna Road, when they observed a vehicle being driven dangerously.
As a result of the investigation, Robert KARANJA a 59-year-old resident of Tillsonburg, was charged with:
· Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle
· Operation While Impaired
· Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) 80 plus
The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice, in Woodstock, on April 28, 2026.
