(KINCARDINE, ON) – On April 17, 2025, at approximately 5:56 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a patron refusing to leave a licensed establishment along Queen Street, Municipality of Kincardine.
Officers attended and took the individual into custody without incident. Further investigation led to a series of criminal charges.
Robert THOMPSON, 54-years-old, of the Municipality of Kincardine was charged with:
- Assault with a weapon, CC 267(a)
- Fail to comply with Probation Order, CC 733.1(1)
- Breach of Recognizance, CC 811
- Fail to leave premises when directed, TPA 2(1)(b)
The accused was held for a bail hearing and subsequently remanded into custody.
