(NORTH BAY, ON) – The North Bay Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a serious collision involving a pedestrian and a snowplough on Highway 11 near Cedar Heights Road in North Bay.
On Saturday, December 20, 2025, at approximately 6:00 p.m., North Bay OPP officers, along with Emergency Medical Services (EMS), responded to a report of a collision. A 28-year-old North Bay resident sustained life-threatening injuries after being struck by a snowplough and was transported to hospital by ambulance.
The OPP’s Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team is assisting with the ongoing investigation. Highway 11 was closed for approximately eight hours while officers examined the scene.
