Organized Theft Hits Zorra Home: OPP Release Suspect Photos

(ZORRA, ON) – The Oxford Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking the public’s assistance following a report of a distraction theft at the local store, in the Township of Zorra.

On September 15, 2025, at approximately 1:00 p.m., members of the Oxford OPP detachment responded to a report of a theft on Road 74 near 33^rd Line, where two subjects attended a residence where they distracted the homeowner.

It was reported that one of the subjects stole a sum of Canadian currency while the other distracted the homeowner. Photos of the subjects are attached. The subjects departed the residence in a black Audi SUV.

The investigation indicates that this incident is part of a broader, ongoing pattern of organized distraction thefts targeting vulnerable individuals across the region. We urge all citizens to remain vigilant in public spaces, especially in crowded areas where distraction thefts are more likely to occur. Please keep your personal belongings secure and always be aware of your surroundings.
