(SOUTH PORCUPINE, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has concluded its investigation following a fatal collision and has charged one person.
On Monday, September 29, 2025, at approximately 7:30 a.m., the South Porcupine OPP responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 101, Whitney Township in Porcupine.
A 69-year-old person from Iroquois Falls was transported by ambulance to a hospital where they died.
As a result, Gurukaran Singh AUJLA, 20 years of age, of Schumacher has been arrested and charged with careless driving causing death.
The accused was released following a bail hearing and is scheduled to attend the Ontario Court of Justice in Timmins on February 26, 2026.
