(Parham, ON) – An individual, who has been prohibited from operating a vehicle was arrested after officers found the driver, in a vehicle on Road 38 in Parham.
On January 10, 2025 around 6:30 am, members of the East Region Community Street Crime Unit located an individual, who has previously been ordered by the Ontario Court of Justice not to operate a vehicle of any kind, driving on Road 38 in Parham.
The vehicle was stopped at a residence, and after getting out of the vehicle, the driver was arrested for violating the prohibition. A search of the vehicle by officers located some ammunition inside. The individual was also under prohibition order from the Ontario Court of Justice for weapons and ammunition.
Frank Teal, a 32-year-old male from Parham was charged with:
- Operation while prohibited under the criminal code.
- Fail to comply with probation or order.
- Possession of firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition order – two counts.
As a result of the investigation, the individual was taken into custody and held for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Kingston on January 10, 2025.
