(TOWNSHIP OF BROCK, ON) – Officers from the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Highway Safety Division (HSD) – Toronto Detachment, Whitby office investigated a two-vehicle collision involving a motorcycle that resulted in one fatality.
On Tuesday June 18, 2024, at 2:19 p.m., the OPP were called to a collision on Highway 12 northbound, north of Highway 7 in the Township of Brock, Ontario.
A motorcycle was traveling northbound on Highway 12 when it crossed into the southbound lanes colliding with a pick-up truck. As a result of the collision, the motorcycle rider, a 17-year-old male from the Township of Brock, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The OPP-HSD Traffic Support Unit assisted with the investigation. Highway 12 northbound and southbound at Highway 7 was closed for approximately 5 hours for the collision investigation.
