(BRANT, ON) – On Sept 07, 2025, at approximately 7:09 p.m., members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a traffic complaint regarding a motor vehicle that may have been involved in a collision.
Police located the vehicle in question parked in downtown Paris. Following a police investigation and after viewing surveillance video police arrested Kevin COOMBES a 38-year-old male of Paris, and charged him with the following offences:
- Operation While Impaired – Alcohol and Drugs
- Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration Over 80
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on September 25, 2025.
The OPP continues to prioritize road safety through proactive enforcement and public education. Impaired driving-whether by alcohol or drugs-remains one of the leading causes of serious collisions and fatalities on Ontario roadways.
