(ARMSTRONG, ON) – The Armstrong Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has laid charges following a fatal collision that occurred on August 8, 2023.
On August 8, 2023, shortly after 11:00 a.m., members of the Armstrong OPP Detachment, the North West Region T.I.M.E. Team (Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement) along with Emergency Medical Services, responded to a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 527 in Armstrong. One individual was pronounced deceased at the scene.
As a result of the investigation, Mason YOUNG, 26-years-old of Thunder Bay, Ontario has been charged with the following Criminal Code offence:
· Dangerous operation causing death
The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on March 24, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
