(WEST NIPISSING, ON) – One person was arrested and charged after operating an All-Terrain-Vehicle (ATV).
On Friday September 19, 2025, at approximately 5:50 p.m., members from the Nipissing West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were on general patrol, and conducted a traffic stop with an ATV on Riding Stable Road, West Nipissing.
The driver was found to be a prohibited driver and was arrested. Wylden RAY, 27-years-of-age, from Cache Bay, was charged with:
- Operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code
- Driver – no helmet or improper helmet
- Operate a motor vehicle without insurance
- Fail to surrender permit for motor vehicle
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on Thursday November 6, 2025, in North Bay. The vehicle was impounded for 45-days, at the cost of the owner.
