(TOWN OF ERIN, ON) – an individual has been charged following an incident in Erin.
On January 18, 2026, at approximately 11:45 p.m., members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the report of an altercation outside of a residence in Erin.
As a result of the investigation, Opkar BRAR, a 47-year-old from Erin, is charged under the Criminal Code with:
- Assault with a weapon
The victim did not sustain any injuries.
The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Guelph February 17, 2026.
