Noah ANDERSON – Impaired Driving

(ASPHODEL-NORWOOD TOWNSHIP, ON) – Officers from the Peterborough County detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual with impaired driving after investigating a vehicle in the ditch call.

On February 24, 2025, shortly after 6:00pm, Peterborough County OPP Officers were contacted about a vehicle that had gone off the road on Asphodel 3^rd Line. Officers arrived on scene to find a grey pickup truck that had gone off the road and was lodged deep in snow. An individual was located in the driver’s seat and the driver’s window was open. Officers called to the individual who exited the vehicle through the window as the snow was too deep to open the door. Upon speaking with the driver, officers detected signs of impairment at which point the driver was arrested.

Noah ANDERSON (age 22) of Asphodel-Norwood Township, ON., was arrested and charged with:

·      Operation while impaired

·      Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

The accused had their drivers licence suspended for 90-days, and their vehicle impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough on March 25, 2025.
