(LAMBTON COUNTY, ON) – Members of the Lambton County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged one individual with second degree murder in connection with a homicide investigation in Lambton County.
On Saturday, November 29, 2025, at approximately 1:40 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance at a residence on Northville Crescent in the Municipality of Lambton Shores and located a deceased individual. A second individual with serious injuries was transported to hospital.
The deceased has been identified as Kimberly HACK, 57 years old of Lambton Shores.
As a result of the investigation, on Saturday, November 29, 2025, Justin HACK, 23 years old of Middlesex Centre, was arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code offences:
· Second degree murder, section 235 (1)
· Attempt to commit murder, section 239 (1) – two counts
· Assault with a weapon, section 267(a)
· Aggravated assault, section 268 (1) – two counts
· Fail to comply with probation order, section 733.1 (1)
The accused remains in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
A publication ban has been issued and, as a result, the OPP will not be able to release further information.
The Lambton County OPP Crime Unit is continuing the investigation under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, in collaboration with the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service. Assistance is being provided by the OPP Forensic Identification Services.
