LANGLOIS Arrested Following Collision

(SOUTH PORCUPINE, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) respond to motor vehicle collision leading to impaired charge.

On February 25, 2025, at approximately 2:51 a.m., members of the South Porcupine OPP responded to a motor vehicle collision on Highway 144, Doyle Township. The investigation revealed the driver had consumed an alcoholic beverage and was transport to detachment for further testing.

As a result, Jason LANGLOIS, 44 years old, of Timmins was arrested and charged with operation while impaired – alcohol.

The driver was issued a 90-day Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Timmins on April 3, 2025.
