Lance CAINES – Theft

(CALEDON, ON) – Members of the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have recovered stolen motorcycles and charged a local resident.

On August 13, 2024, the Caledon OPP Community Street Crime Unit entered into a stolen vehicle investigation that led officers to a residence in Caledon. Later that same day, with the assistance of the Dufferin CSCU, a search warrant was executed. The motorcycles, motorcycle equipment, and a trailer were recovered.

Lance CAINES, 40, of Caledon, has been charged with:

• Theft over $5000

• Possession of property obtained by Crime under $5000

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on September 26, 2024, to answer to the charges.
