Kyle SPEARS Was Arrested Again

(CARLETON PLACE, ON) – The Lanark County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a Carleton Place resident with impaired driving.

Lanark County OPP received a call from a business on Monday, April 6, 2026, just before 11:00 a.m. in the Town of Carleton Place in reference to an unresponsive person in a vehicle in front of a business. The vehicle had previously been reported as stolen. The driver was also the subject of an outstanding warrant in Lanark County.

The driver was arrested and transported to the OPP Detachment in Carleton Place for testing.

As a result of the investigation, Kyle SPEARS, 31-years-old, has been charged with:

·        Operation while impaired – Drugs

·        Possession of property obtained by crime over $5000

·        Theft under $5000

·        Take motor vehicle without consent

·        Failure to comply with release order

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Perth on Monday, April 7, 2026.

The individual’s driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days (Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension), and the vehicle was impounded for seven days.
