Kristan MILLER Was Arrested

(THUNDER BAY, ON) – A Brampton resident is facing numerous charges following a search warrant execution in the City of Thunder Bay.

On June 21, 2024, shortly before 2:00 p.m., members of the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau, with the assistance of the Thunder Bay Police Service, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence on Newberry Crescent.

The investigation resulted in the arrest of one individual and the seizure of numerous suspected illicit substances including approximately 144 grams of fentanyl, 11 grams of methamphetamine, two grams of ecstasy, and six rounds of ammunition. Canadian currency and other items associated with drug trafficking were also seized.

As a result, Kristan MILLER, 31-years-old, of Brampton, has been arrested and charged under the Criminal Code and CDSA with:

·        Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Methylenedioxyamphetamine (Ecstasy)

·        Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl

·        Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine  

·        Possession of Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to Prohibition Order – two counts

·        Possession of Proceeds of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

The accused is being held in custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay at a later date.
