(Sydenham, ON) – A vehicle lost control on the road and ended up in the ditch on its roof, the result was the driver was charged with impaired driving.
Frontenac OPP responded to the vehicle collision just after 7:00 pm March 01, 2025 when a citizen reported the crash occurred in front of their residence on Alton Road, South Frontenac Township. No injuries were reported to police.
Justin Towers, a 32-year-old male from Godfrey, was arrested at the scene and taken to the Lennox and Addington detachment for further testing. He was charged with:
- operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs.
- operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
The driver was released from custody and is to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Kingston at a later date. They also had their drivers license suspended for 90 days and vehicle impounded for a period of 7 days
