(NEW TECUMSETH, ON)- The Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Major Crime Unit has laid additional charges on an individual in relation to a historical sexual assault.
In September 2024, an investigation began into John WILKINSON, following the initial investigation and subsequent news release, additional victims have come forward to the police.
One victim disclosed two separate assaults dating back to 2015 and 2019, prompting the arrest of John WILKINSON on the following charges:
– Sexual Assault x 2
– Sexual Interference x 2
A second victim reported an assault that took place in 2017, leading to additional charges against WILKINSON for:
– Sexual Assault
WILKINSON has since been arrested and was held for a bail hearing.
