Jeremiah HOLE – Speeding & Drunk Driving Whith Children

(THUNDER BAY, ON) – On December 5th, 2025 at approximately 10:23 a.m., officers from the Thunder Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducting speed enforcement along Lakeshore Drive, within the Municipality of Shuniah, when they initiated a traffic stop on a motor vehicle travelling 85km/hr in a posted 60km/hr.

Throughout the investigation, it was determined that the driver had been consuming alcoholic beverages & had his children in the motor vehicle. The male was placed under arrest & returned to the detachment for further tests.

As a result of the investigation, Jeremiah HOLE, 23, of Thunder Bay, Ontario was charged with the following:

Criminal Code:

  • Dangerous Operation;
  • Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus);
  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs;
  • Fail to Provide Necessaries of Life;

Highway Traffic Act:

  • Speeding 25km/hr over the posted limit

The accused has been released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Thunder Bay on January 21st, 2025.
