(ONEIDA NATION OF THE THAMES FIRST NATION, ON) – Traffic complaint leads to multiple charges.
On July 23, 2025, at 1:36 p.m., members of the Oneida Nation Police Service, Middlesex County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Chippewas of the Thames First Nation were dispatched to a traffic complaint driving erratically in a vehicle in Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation.
Police patrolled the area and located the vehicle at an address on Iroquois Road in Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation at which time the driver of the vehicle fled on foot.
After a short foot pursuit, the accused was taken into custody.
As a result, Jeremiah DOXTATOR, a 23-year-old, of no fixed address, has been charged under the Criminal Code with:
· Dangerous operation
· Flight from peace officer
· Operation While Prohibited under the Criminal Code
· Operation while impaired – drugs
· Failure or refusal to comply with demand
· Failure to comply with release order – other than to attend court
The accused was held for bail.
The Oneida Nation Police Service and Middlesex OPP want to remind the public that if you see anything suspicious or suspect an impaired driver you should contact your local police authority immediately.
