Jahrich BREWATER Was Arrested

(WEST NIPISSING, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested and charged a passenger with drug related offences after conducting a traffic stop.

On February 27, 2026, at approximately 11:40 p.m., members of the Nipissing West Detachment of the OPP conducted a traffic stop with a motor vehicle and observed the rear passenger not wearing a seat belt on Highway 17, West Nipissing.

As a result of the investigation, officers searched the vehicle and located Canadian currency and a quantity of drugs suspected to be Cocaine.

Jahrich BREWATER, 23-years-of-age, from Oshawa was arrested and charged with: 

  • Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5000
  • Passenger – fail to properly wear seat belt

The accused was held for Bail Court, then remanded back into custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on March 2, 2026, in North Bay.
