Drug Bust – TURNER, FREEMAN & JANTZEN

(DUFFERIN COUNTY) – Officers from the Dufferin Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed search warrants at three locations in the Town of Orangeville and the City of Oakville, resulting in the arrest of three individuals. During the operation, police seized a quantity of stolen items, including a loaded handgun, ammunition, multiple knives, a crossbow, an expandable baton, along with cocaine, fentanyl, oxycodone, vehicles, and cash.

In the fall of 2025, Dufferin OPP initiated a drug trafficking investigation. On December 17, 2025, the Dufferin OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), with assistance from the Caledon CSCU, Nottawasaga CSCU, Collingwood CSCU, Huronia West CSCU, Dufferin A Platoon, and the Halton Regional Police Tactical Response Unit (TRU) and K9 Unit, executed the search warrants. The operation resulted in the arrest of three individuals and the seizure of the following items:

Marvin TURNER, 34-year-old male, from Oakville, has been charged with:

• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking

• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking

• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

• Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm

• Knowing Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm

• Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm

• Careless Storage of a Firearm, Prohibited Device, or Ammunition (×3)

• Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition for a Dangerous Purpose (×3)

• Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition (×2)

• Possession of a Schedule I Substance – Opioid (Other Than Heroin)

• Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon (×2)

• Possession of a Firearm or Ammunition Contrary to a Prohibition Order

Alexandria FREEMAN, 27-year-old female, from Oakville, has been charged with:

• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking

• Possession of Fentanyl for the Purpose of Trafficking

• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Over $5,000

• Unauthorized Possession of a Prohibited or Restricted Firearm

• Knowing Unauthorized Possession of a Firearm

• Possession of a Loaded Prohibited or Restricted Firearm

• Careless Storage of a Firearm, Prohibited Device, or Ammunition (×3)

• Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition for a Dangerous Purpose (×3)

• Possession of a Prohibited Device or Ammunition (×2)

David JANTZEN, 50-year-old male, from Orangeville, has been charged with:

• Possession of Cocaine for the Purpose of Trafficking

• Possession of Oxycodone for the Purpose of Trafficking

• Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

The following items were seized:

• Glock 26 handgun (loaded, with serial number scratched off/removed)

• Two extended prohibited magazines (loaded with 9mm ammunition)

• Two spring-loaded knives

• Expandable baton

• Crossbow

• 14.1 grams of cocaine

• 10.4 grams of fentanyl

• 25 oxycodone pills

• 1,100 grams of UK cutting agent

• Drug trafficking indicia

• Bulk bundled Canadian currency

• Rolex watch (seized as proceeds of crime)

• 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee seized as offence-related property ($35,000)

• 2021 BMW X3 seized as offence-related property ($40,000)
