Death At Park Under Investigation

(ALLISTON, ON) – The Nottawasaga Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a death at Earl Rowe Provincial Park.

On Friday, August 22, at approximately 11:58 p.m., officers were called to Earl Rowe Provincial Park where one person was located deceased. 

Preliminary information suggests this is an isolated incident, with no signs of a broader threat. Police continue to investigate and are actively monitoring the situation.

Local residents can expect to see an increased police presence as officers continue the investigation.

The OPP is reminding the public to always use caution and be aware of their surroundings and personal safety. Further information will be released as it becomes available.
